Start your day with check in where you will be welcomed onboard by of our friendly staff on the boat at Newport Marina at 7:30am – parking is free in the marina.

Get settled in and enjoy a complimentary morning tea while the crew gets the boat ready for departure.

Our Moreton Bay Cruise takes the most direct route from Brisbane and will get you over to Moreton Island in just under 50 minutes, stopping along the way to interact with any animals sighted. These are usually dolphins and during the winter migration season from June to October you may encounter Mother Whales with their baby calves.

During the trip over, our Marine Biologist will provide a snorkel brief for all those interested in participating, as well as information on what marine life you can expect to see during the snorkel and where to look. Even if you do not plan to snorkel, you are welcome to join in to learn about the incredible sea life that inhabits Moreton Bay.

Once you arrive at the island, you will then have the option to participate in the 50 minute Guided Snorkel and Fish Feeding tour through the famous Tangalooma Wrecks. Drift your way through and around the 15 shipwrecks, home to an abundance of aquatic marine life, with your guide safely leading you from one end to the other where you will be picked up.
(Please note: you must be able to swim to participate in this activity.) For those who don’t feel confident snorkelling, you will relax on the boat, soaking up the sunshine, until all snorkellers are back on board. At this time the boat will be moved to a prime position for beach time on Moreton Island.

Followed by the Snorkel, you will dry off and enjoy a fresh healthy buffet style lunch of chicken, salad, ham off the bone, and bread rolls, all baked and prepared in the early hours of the morning for you. The bar will also be open where you can purchase drinks and snacks. Following lunch is free time on Moreton Islands picturesque beach where you can swim, sunbathe, and climb the famous sand hills for a spectacular view of the Moreton Bay Marine Park.

Once back on the boat, you will then spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and learning while you cruise the crystal clear aqua water for the Eco Marine Safari; spotting dolphins, dugongs and turtles. Your crew will indulge you with interesting facts and informative commentary about Moreton Island’s history and the local marine life and their habitats.

You will arrive back at Newport Marina around 4pm to disembark.
