Directions to Newport Marina Scarborough
from Brisbane
* Make your way out to the M1 highway. (north bound)
Wickham St ~ Kingsford Smith Dr is the usual rout out of the city. Follow the Brisbane airport signs Exit 16 which will lead you on to the freeway* Don’t turn off at the Brisbane airport but stay on the highway going north.
Approx 8 - 10 minutes past the Brisbane airport sign there is a large sign for Redcliffe. Follow the sign and this road will lead you to a long straight bridge (2km long) called the Hornibrook Bridge. (once over the this bridge you are now on Redcliffe Peninsula)
* At the far end of the bridge stay in the left or middle lanes and continue straight veering to the left on to Elizabeth Ave. Continue ahead and the road changes to Snook st.
a few minutes up the road a large intersection at Anzac Ave and Snook st continue straight through the set of lights on to Boardman Rd, continue straight on Boardman st until the end, there is a roundabout where you turn right and you are on Griffith Rd.
Continue on Griffith Rd and on your left just after a small bridge the entrance to the Marina is located, drive in to the marina and there is plenty of parking all the way around the marina.
The vessel is at the very end of the marina, white catamaran, enter via the middle ramp coming off the sidewalk.
