Day 1
Escape the crowds with a small and friendly group as we take you on an unforgettable cruise into the sheltered crystal clear waters of Moreton Island and its Marine park.
This haven is home to many playful Dolphins, the rare and shy Dugongs, Sea Turtles and even Humpback whales (May-Oct). You will be amazed by the spectacular beauty of Moreton island and enjoy the expert commentary provided.
You will then make your way to the world famous Tangalooma Wrecks for a guided snorkel, comparable to the Great Barrier Reef, snorkel through 15 scuttled ship wrecks, amongst a miriam of fish life. There is also activities for the adventurous, experience the rush of Boom netting off the back of the boat, fish feeding or relax on the white sandy beaches, swim in the crystal Clear waters.
Morning tea is provided on arrival at the vessel and you will be treated to a chicken and seafood smorgasbord lunch and tropical fruit platter for afternoon tea.
In the afternoon you depart the West Coast ship wrecks by 4WD along rough sand tracks climbing towards Howard Range and onto the isolated Eastern beach and Blue Lagoon National park environmental campsite, Solar powered with kitchen and tents set up, toilets and showers close by and with a long deserted beach and fresh water sand lakes on your doorstep.
Night action - Swim in the lake, beach walk, enjoy the eco campfire and the sparkling night sky. All meal are fresh on the island including BBQ dinner.
Day 2
Enjoy a variety of walks and hikes available for the early riser at sunrise before a tropical breakfast.
Activities during the day includes spitfire Creek and ancient Aboriginal sites, a 4WD tour along the Eastern beach with hikes on Harpers Rocks to see coloured sands and marine life. Visit Cape Moreton for spectacular views over the bay and see Whales (may-Oct) Sharks, Turtles, Dolphins and Sting rays. Great photography and relaxation at the Honeymoon bay and swim and snorkel in the Blue Lagoon.
Sand boarding The Desert at speed is a great activity for everyone and enjoy a ferry sunset cruise across Moreton island and via the brisbane River arriving back to the City.
